Rickie Fowler wears neon shoes at The Players Championship
Rickie Fowler has made some interesting fashion statements since signing with Puma in 2009, but he may have outdone himself Thursday when he sported some crazy neon footwear.
Even NBC analyst Johnny Miller, who was infamous for his wild outfits back in the 1970s, thought the shoes were a bit extreme. Though he did say he would have worn them back in his day. Fellow golf analyst Nick Faldo wasn't a fan of the shoes. He said he would have been distracted by the multiple bright colors.
Fowler, who shot a 1-under 35 on the front nine, didn't have any trouble on the third hole, when he knocked his tee shot to a few feet.
